Using this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes and to learn about Paul Waters Associates, SPQ*GOLD and the Career Styles Inventory (CSI). You must not use it in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, disruptive or likely to damage the website, its security or another person’s rights.
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, introduce malicious code, interfere with its operation, scrape or harvest information unlawfully, impersonate another person, or use automated systems in a way that places an unreasonable load on the website.
Assessment integrity and prohibited use
SPQ*GOLD and CSI assessment content, reports, examples, scoring methods, guidance and related materials are proprietary and may also contain intellectual property belonging to their publishers or licensors.
You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer or attempt to derive assessment questions, scoring rules, thresholds or interpretation methods. You must not use this website, its AI adviser or any other material to obtain or provide preferred answers, coach somebody to manipulate an assessment, complete an assessment for another person, use AI or outside assistance to answer assessment questions, or circumvent any assessment-security measure.
Candidates and participants should complete assessments independently and honestly, using their own judgement. Attempts to manipulate a result or obtain outside assistance may cause the result to be questioned or treated as invalid.
Website information and assessment decisions
The website provides general information only. Although we take reasonable care over its content, we do not promise that every item is complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose.
SPQ*GOLD and CSI are decision-support tools. Website content, sample reports and assessment information do not constitute a guarantee of performance, a hiring or promotion recommendation, or a substitute for an organisation’s own interviews, checks, professional judgement and legal responsibilities. Any decision remains the responsibility of the person or organisation making it.
AI website adviser
If an AI website adviser is available, it provides general guidance based on approved public information. It is not a human consultant, does not interpret individual reports and must not be used to make hiring, rejection, promotion or employment decisions.
Do not enter assessment responses, candidate reports, CVs, confidential employee information or other sensitive personal information into the AI adviser. AI-generated responses can occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. For advice about a specific situation, please contact Dominic Waters directly.

Unless stated otherwise, the website and its text, design, graphics, videos, downloads and other content are owned by or licensed to Paul Waters Associates. All rights are reserved.
You may view the website and print or download reasonable extracts for your own internal evaluation of our services. You must not modify, republish, sell, license, distribute or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission, and you must retain any ownership notices.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. A link does not necessarily imply endorsement.
Availability and security
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors or harmful code. You are responsible for using suitable security and virus-protection measures.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, Paul Waters Associates is not responsible for loss or damage arising solely from reliance on general website content, the unavailability or misuse of the website, third-party websites, or decisions made without appropriate independent judgement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, business, opportunity, goodwill or data arising from use of the website.
